What Is Facebook Wifi?
Facebook WiFi lets business customers check in to your wireless hotspot for free Wi-Fi access. When those customer check into your page, you can share your offers and other announcements with them. It turns your router into a Wi-Fi hotspot, connecting you with your customers when they visit your business and bringing visitors to your Facebook Page. With just one click, your customers can check in to the location associated with your Facebook Page and start using the Web. You can also share offers and announcements with customers on your Page.

To setup Facebook Wifi at your business, give Refined IT a call. We will review your current router and confirm it has the capabilities to run Facebook Wifi and we will also look at your internet connection and confirm if can support additional customers without interrupting your business productivity.

Customer: How do I connect to Facebook Wifi?
To connect to Facebook Wifi:
1. Connect to the business’s wireless network
2. Open your web browser. (Chrome, Internet Explorer etc)
3. Your browser will automatically redirect to the business’s Facebook Wi-Fi Page and from here, you can either check in or enter a special password provided to you by the business to access Wi-Fi.
If you check in to access Wi-Fi, Facebook Wi-Fi won’t automatically check you into the business in future visits. You’ll have an option to check in to a business each time you visit. If you’ve opted in to automatic check-ins you still need to launch your web browser before using Facebook Wi-Fi. Otherwise, some apps may not work.
